Collision Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP) is not insurance. The purchase of CDW-TP to rent a vehicle is optional and not required to rent a vehicle. If you purchase CDW-TP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, after the deductible of $1,000 USD (for damage) or up to $2,000 USD (for theft), during the rental period in Peru, unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. If the renter declines both CDW-TP and NPP, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle. Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside Peru do not provide coverage in Peru. Employees of the local rental car company are not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the customer's personal auto insurance coverage. The renter should contact their insurance company prior to arrival with any questions regarding their specific coverage. CDW-TP is included in the National Protection Package (NPP). If the renter declines both CDW-TP and NPP, the renter is responsible for the full value of damage to or loss of the vehicle.

Deductible Protection (DP)
Deductible Protection (DP) may be purchased as an additional protection along with CDW-TP and TPL. When purchase, DP reduces the renter's Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection and Third Party Liability deductibles to $0.

Third Party Liability
Third Party Liability (TPL2) The purchase of Third Party Liability (TPL) is requried by the rental company unless you purchase the National Protection Package (NPP), which includes TPL. Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, under the local rental car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL protection, and such a purchase is required unless the customer presents valid written proof of current liability insurance specifying coverage in Peru or if the customer purchases National Protection Package (NPP) which includes TPL. TPL provides coverage for incidents which occur during the rental period in Peru. TPL coverage is subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement.
A deductible of $5,000 USD applies.
Please be aware that most auto insurance policies from outside of Peru do not provide coverage in Peru. Personal Accident Insurance(PAI)
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) The purchase of Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is optional and not required to rent a vehicle. PAI covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for each passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit of $8,000 USD per person, maximum five passengers. Also includes a life insurance with a maximum of $40,000 USD per person.

Roadside Assistance Proctection
Roadside Assistance Protection (RSP) If selected and paid for at th etime of rental, Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 without additional charges.
RAP includes towing (not related to an accident), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), and lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). Jumpstarts and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel is also provided. Tire damage beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.

Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP) may be purchased at an additional cost.

Additional Protection
National Protection Package (NPP) is a package product which includes Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection (CDW-TP), Tire and Windshield Protection (TWP), Third Party Liability (TPL) and Deductible Protection (DP) at a discounted price. National Protection Package (NPP) is not insurance. If you purchase NPP, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, and for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, during the rental period in Peru subject to the actions listed on the rental agreement that invalidate the coverage as described in the rental agreement.

Additional Driver
All additional drivers must meet all rental requirements.

One-way rentals
All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.
Renter Requirement
Customers must have a valid drivers license from the country of origin.
Must meet the location's minimum age requiements to rent.
Must present a major credit card in the renter's name at the time of rental.
A customer can drive in country using their drivers licensee from country of origin for up to 60 days. If staying in country longer, they will needs an International driving permit.
International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residence. In addition to the drivers license, if the characheters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.
Payment Policy
A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card. In addition, if the renter has an online transaction, the number and name printed on the card must match the information stored for the online transaction.

An authorization of $1,000 plus the estimated rental charge will be placed on credit card. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.
Debit/Check cards are only accepted at this location as a form of final payment. Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card with American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Diners Club® logo. Any other non-credit card without one of these logos are not accepted.
Cash is only accepted at this location as a form of final payment.
Refueling Policy
As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Option 1- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay National at the end of the rental for gas used but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 25% surcharge will apply.
Option 2- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
Special Equipment
GPS Navigation Device – $8.00 per day/ $56.00 per week./ Max $240. There is a replacement fee of $250 if the GPS is damaged or not returned.
Child Safety Seat – $5.00 per day/ Max $150. There is a replacement fee of $150 if the child safety seat is damaged or not returned.
Child Booster Seat – $5.00 per day/ max $150. There is a replacement fee of $150 if the child booster seat is damaged or not returned.
Luggage Rack – $5.00 per day/$35.00 per week. /Max $150. There is a replacement fee of $250.00 if the luggage rack is damaged or not returned.

Roadside Assistance
Available 24 hours. Customer must call at 511-517-1855 during regular business hours.
In case of accident the police must be notified. They will conduct a mandatory drug and alcohol test. Call the rental location in order to inform them and in case a replacement vehicle is required.
This is also necessary should the vehicle break down. In the event of an accident the driver must obtain a copy of the police report.
