Collision Damage Waiver
Collision Damage Waiver–Theft Protection (CDW-TP1) is not insurance. The rental location requires purchase of CDW-TP1 to rent a vehicle, unless you present written proof that your cedit card provides collision and theft protection in Panama, or you purchase the National Protection Package (NPP), which includes CDW-TP1. The rental company will not accept personal insurance or insurance sold by third parties as a substitute for purchasing CDW-TP1. If you purchase CDW-TP1, the rental company contractually waives your responsibility for the cost of damage to, loss or theft of the vehicle, after the deductible, during the rental period in Panama unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. A deductible of up to $3,500 USD applies, depending on car class.
Deductible Protection (DP)
Deductible Protection (DP) reduces renter's Collision Damage Waiver-Theft Protection deductible to $0. Deductible Protection does not apply in the case of theft. A police report is required.
Third Party Liability
Third Party Liability (TPL1) In Panama, the purchase of TPL1 is required by the rental company unless you purchase the National Protection Package (NPP), which includes TPL1. Customers can obtain coverage for damages and injuries to third parties, up to the policy limits, under the local rental car company's insurance by purchasing its TPL1 protection unless you invalidate the coverage as provided in the rental agreement. Liability insurance purchased on third party travel websites and insurance that accompaies US credit or debit cards may not provide coverage in Panama.
Personal Accident Insurance (PAI)
Personal Accident Coverage (PAI). The purchase of personal accident coverage is optional and is not required in order to rent a vehicle.
Personal Accident Insurance covers ambulance service, doctors, hospitalization and nurses for each passenger in the vehicle, with a maximum limit maximum limit of $5,000 USD for the driver and $3,000 USD for each passenger. Also includes a life insurance of $50,000 USD for the driver and $25,000 USD for the passengers

Roadside Assistance Proctection
Roadside Assistance Protection (RAP) If selected and paid for at the time of rental, Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 without additional charges.
RAP includes towing (not related to an accident), flat tire service (if no inflated spare is available, vehicle will be towed), and lockout service (if keys are locked inside the vehicle). Jumpstarts and fuel delivery service for up to 5 gallons (or equivalent liters) of fuel is also provided. Tire damage beyond repair as a result of driver neglect is the responsibility of the renter.

One-way rentals
All one way rentals must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. One way charges apply and are payable at time of rental. One way charges cannot be prepaid.
Renter Requirement
Must meet the location's minimum age requirements.
Present a valid driver's license.
Present a major credit card in renter's name at the time of rental.
International drivers must provide a valid license from their country of residentce. In addition to the drivers license, if the characheters are not in English or Latin characters, an international drivers permit is recommended. If the drivers license is in characters other than Latin, an International permit is required or a Notarized English Translation is accepted.
This location accepts notorized Chinese Drivers License.
Payment Policy
A passport in addition to a credit card, with available credit and in the renter's name, must be presented. The signature on the back must match the name imprinted on the card.

An authorization on the credit card of 30% or a minimum charge of $300 will apply for Economy to Compact and a minimum of $500 for Midsize and above will be authorized on credit card upon rental of vehicle of the rental charges plus the cost of the rental will be taken at the time of rental. This authorization amount may be used toward damages of vehicles or late charges.
Debit/Check cards are not accepted at this location. Debit/check cards are considered to be any non-credit card American Express®, MasterCard®, VISA®, Diners Club® logo.
Cash is not accepted at this location.
Refueling Policy
As a customer, you have a choice as to how you would like to pay for fuel.
Option 1- Prepay Fuel
This option allows the renter to pay for the full tank of gas at the time of rental and return the tank empty. No refunds will be issued for unused gas. Pre-paid gas is available at the local fuel prices
Option 2- We Refill
This option allows the renter to pay National at the end of the rental for gas toed but not replaced. Price per gallon will be higher than local fuel prices. A 50% surcharge will apply.
Option 3- You Refill
This option allows the renter to return the vehicle with a full tank of gas to avoid extra fuel charges.
